Privacy notice

We collect only the information needed to administer and verify this competition.

Information collected

Name, surname, email address, telephone number, uploaded photos, registration time and completion time.

How it is used

To provide the private entry link, track activity progress, verify entries, determine completion order, contact winners by WhatsApp and email, deliver tickets by email and prevent misuse.

Who can see the photos

Photos are not placed in a public gallery. They are available only to authorised Boktown administrators through the protected review dashboard.

Other people in your photos

Before uploading a photo that shows another recognisable person, please obtain their permission to include the photo in your competition entry.

Storage and deletion

Information is stored on the campaign’s managed hosting server. After the competition and winner administration are complete, the app will be disabled and uploaded photos will be permanently deleted.

Your choices

You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing passport@boktownmbombela.co.za. Deleting an active entry may remove it from the competition.

Private links

Your entry link is private and should not be shared. Anyone who has the link may be able to access and update that entry.
